We are excited to share that Block B, the brand-new Medical Precinct at Frontier Estate, is officially complete. This purpose-built healthcare hub marks a major milestone for our fast-growing community and brings essential services right into the heart of one of Te Awamutu’s newest neighbourhoods.

Block B is located at 415 Pioneer Drive in the Frontier Estate commercial area, just a short drive from the Te Awamutu CBD. As the western side of town continues to grow, the precinct provides convenient access to healthcare for both local residents and the wider community.
The building features a sharp, modern commercial design that complements its surroundings while giving the precinct a clear identity. With straightforward access, strong signage opportunities, and generous onsite parking, it has been created to offer a practical and user-friendly experience for visitors and patients.
Construction moved smoothly and right on schedule thanks to the strong teamwork of the contractors involved.

Tenancy Breakdown

Block B: Medical Precinct – Floor Plan
Block B has been designed with accessibility and ease of movement in mind. The site offers 25 standard car parks and 6 accessible parks to accommodate visitors with different mobility needs. Bicycle parking is also available near the main entrances for those arriving by bike. A well-positioned loading bay supports deliveries and operational needs, while the spacious service area ensures smooth day-to-day functionality. Altogether, the layout makes navigating the site simple, efficient, and user friendly for both staff and visitors.

Block B is now complete and forms an important part of Frontier Estate’s future commercial hub. Looking ahead, the precinct will also include Block A.1, planned to offer retail and commercial services anchored by a 300 m² superette, and Block A.2, a three-story building with basement parking, second-story office space, and a 300 m² indoor-outdoor café with additional retail and service areas. Block C will feature four semi-permanent cabins designed for short-term retail or pop-up tenants. Together, these buildings will create a lively commercial centre that supports both residents and local businesses.

The completion of Block B brings essential healthcare services closer to home and strengthens the commercial offering on the western side of Te Awamutu. As tenants settle in and more businesses join the precinct, Frontier Estate continues to grow as a modern and connected place to live and work.
