Local Scouts are making waves thanks to a new yacht donated by Frontier Estate, giving young people the chance to learn, play, and grow on the water.
At Frontier Estate, we’re committed to supporting the communities that shape Te Awamutu and the Waikato. This year, we were thrilled to donate a brand-new yacht to the Kirikiriroa & St Peter’s Scout Group. An organisation that plays an important role in helping young people build confidence, learn life skills, and enjoy new experiences outdoors.
The yacht, now proudly bearing the Frontier Estate name, is already being put to great use. Young sailors have taken to the water to learn teamwork, navigation, and the joy of sailing. A skill they’ll carry with them for years to come.
We were also pleased to have the Scouts join us at the Frontier Estate playground grand opening earlier this year. Their sausage sizzle added a real sense of community to the celebration, and we’re grateful for the support they’ve shown our growing neighbourhood.
Frontier Estate is committed to backing organisations that bring people together and provide positive pathways for local youth. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Scouts and supporting their future adventures, both on land and on the water.
