Buying & Building
at Frontier Estate

You may have seen recent news about a 3 year delay to new water connection consents in Te Awamutu following storm damage to local infrastructure.

Frontier Estate is not affected by these delays.

All sections within Frontier Estate are already fully serviced, with water, wastewater, stormwater, and other essential infrastructure installed to the boundary.

This means:
  • No need to apply for new water connection consents
  • No delays related to current council restrictions
  • Sections are ready for you to begin building once you’re ready
In contrast, the reported delays apply to new developments or subdivisions still requiring council approval for water connections.

At Frontier Estate, that work is already complete! So you can move forward with confidence, without uncertainty around infrastructure timing.

The Ministry of Education has confirmed that local schools in Te Awamutu have the capacity to accommodate the growth expected from Frontier Estate and other nearby developments. This assurance reflects strong planning and investment in the region’s educational infrastructure.
